Two weeks ago we shot our last wedding of the year, and what a wedding to finish our season on!! Niamh & Eoin had a big fat Irish wedding in London and it was beautiful! A super cosy winter wedding that ended with a live band and everyone going crazy on the dance floor. Our Irish cousins certainly know how to throw a party!

Our day started with Niamh getting ready at parents house along with her bridesmaids, whilst Eion got ready at hotel close to the church. Now, usually the brides get all the attention when it comes to the details (mainly because I'm a sucker for flowers and anything sparkly!!) but this time around I'm skipping the "did you see how amazing the brides shoes were?!" to instead share the story behind the grooms cufflinks. During the evening reception Eoin's very proud Mum was telling me that Eoin's great grandfather fought in WW1 at the Battle of Somme. When he returned home from the war his wife cut the buttons off his jacket and kept them, only for their daughter to later make cufflinks out of them. Eoin was wearing these exact same cufflinks on his wedding day. I absolutely adore it when couples incorporate such personal details into their wedding and this has to be one of my favourite stories of "something old" to date.

After a morning of prep, Niamh and her Dad headed to the church in a vintage Rolls Royce whilst Eoin, his brother and Dad strolled through London to get the church. The ceremony was held in St Etheldredas, the most beautiful church! With it's magnificent stain-glass windows, candelabras and high stone arches, it made for a magical place to exchange vows.

After a beautiful ceremony and some group photographs we headed to Harild & Sons, a gorgeous little cocktail bar located in the city. With its rustic industrial feel, complete with a copper bar, fairy lights and plants it complimented their winter wedding vibe perfectly. They also had little jars of white flowers and candles adorning the tables, matching all the bouquets (Like I actually wasn't going to mention the flowers! Insert eye roll emoji) Niamh's dress was also absolutely stunning, a slimline gown with lots of beading and embroidery. The whole bridal party also had faux fur stoles fastened little crystal brooches.

Eoins brother was the Best Man and he gave a fantastic speech that led to me and Craig approaching the groom afterwards to admiringly ask "Was that story about the tattoo true?!" (It was) But my absolute favourite moment, apart from the stunning candlelit ceremony, was when Niamh & Eoin danced their way into the reception room!

A huge Congratulations to the lovely newlywed and a massive thank you for sharing your day with us x
