Last month we had the privilege of shooting Emily & Toms wedding in the spectacular Kings College chapel in Cambridge. It was a gorgeous spring day, with family and friends from all over, including Emily's family, who had travelled down from Wales to join the celebrations. The ceremony had not only wonderfully heartfelt readings but also the most amazing choir I've ever heard. Ever! I might be more of a Nirvana girl but even I could appreciate the beauty of their harmonious voices floating through the chapel. Just stunning!
Whilst the venue was epic in scale, the day was filled with lots of lovely personal details. Like Emily's bouquet, that was made up Lilly of The Valley, the same flowers that grow in her Nan's garden and her absolute favourites. Along with lots of little nods to Emily's welsh heritage, including the daffodils in Kings College Hall where the reception was held and the cute little Welsh Lovespoons that were given to each of their guests as wedding favours.
Tom had also gifted Emily with a beautifully carved and engraved Welsh Lovespoon on the morning of the wedding. Lovespoons were traditionally given as romantic gifts to their suitors as a token of their affection. Such a sweet and fitting gift for your Bride to Be!
Emily wore the prettiest dress that had serious royal princess vibes and I loved the cold shoulder cornflower blue bridesmaid dresses! Best part of the day though? The newlyweds being announced into their reception room as " Dr Watson & Dr Watson". Amazing!!
A huge Congratulations to the newlyweds, here's a little peek at their day......
