South Farm is a stunning venue set in the Hertfordshire countryside and a really beautiful location for a wedding. We've visited this venue at every season and no matter the time of year, or the weather, it always looks spectacular! Which is fortunate because the weather has been quite fickle this summer.... heatwaves one week only to be followed by what feels like the early onset of Autumn!! I know I'm not the only one who has been reaching out for their cardi and trying to find last winters bunny slippers in the back of the wardrobe!!

Lucy & Gary planned a fun and relaxed wedding, choosing to celebrate their big day at South Farm. Despite the weather misbehaving it was a really beautiful day, complete with ice creams and garden games, which were supplied by Dolly Dimples Weddings. There was a string quartet to entertain the guests during the drinks reception and as Tolkien fan I LOVED the amazing sign that read "No admittance except on wedding business", made by the wonderful Alice at Fleur de Lace.

The newlyweds also got to pay the chickens and pigs a little visit, although not for too long because it turns out that pigs find wedding dresses really tasty and unsurprisingly Lucy didn't fancy having her gorgeous gown being snacked on! And I got to catch up with one of my past couples, Katie & Matt, who's wedding I shot a couple of years ago, which was also really lovely.

Congratulations again to Lucy & Gary as well a huge thank you for having us there to capture your wedding!
