Sally & Adams Wedding Preview - A Humanist Ceremony at Cromwell Barns, Burleigh Farm

Sally & Adam had their Humanist ceremony at Cromwell Barns in Burleigh Farm, and we had the huge honour of being there to capture everything! Katie the Celebrant (whom I could probably write an entire separate blog post about because she was THAT fabulous!) led a wonderful ceremony that was completely personal, emotive and storytelling.

There was lots of laughter and happy tears all round and our absolute favourite moment was when the wedding rings were handed around so that everybody could hold them before they exchanged vows. Ooohh and their friend breaking out into song during her reading was the best!! More of that at weddings please! The entire ceremony was so beautiful and such a joy to document.

The venue itself was a rustic barn with industrial vibes, all decorated with fairy lights and pink & white lanterns surrounded by an amazing treescape with endless fields. I love that all the flowers used to decorate the barn had been grown by Sally's mum in the families garden and placed in up-cycled coca cola bottles. Super pretty and a really lovely personal touch.

After a laid back drinks reception of beers and a doughnut wall, the couple and their guests enjoyed afternoon tea followed by freshly made Pizzas and allll of the dancing!!

Sally & Adams fur baby, Bailey, looked rather handsome with his pink bow tie and wolfish grin. And forever a sucker for dogs at weddings there undoubtedly at least 50'000 photographs of him. We also got to catch up with Katrina & Adam, one of our gorgeous couples from 2017, the super lovely Hayley from Dollys Vintage Tea Party, as well as a bridesmaid from our Kefalonia wedding next year..... What a day!
